Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace

Laxmi Niwas Palace is one of the most beautiful luxury heritage hotels of the country. Designed by British architect Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob, this former residential palace of the Maharajah Ganga Singh is now owned by Golden Triangle Fort & Palace P. Ltd. Its Indo-Saracenic architecture and beautifully carved red sandstone make it stand among the most amazing architecture of the state.

Four years' hard work of hereditary craftsmen of Bikaner reflects in the architecture and is the reason of appreciation. Colonnaded corridors, marble courtyards and appealing lattice work in stone can easily spell bound anyone visiting Laxmi Niwas Palace. Lavishly decorated palace houses portraits of kings and gold wall paintings. Prepared for the personal guests of Maharajah, Laxmi Niwas Palace is decorated with painted or carved wood ceilings.

Clock tower at the entrance evokes memories of royal era. Magnificent halls and canopied balconies reflect the beauty and work of that golden era. Skins of the tigers and other animals are the evidence of the hunting habits of the king. Manicured gardens dotted with a variety of flora add some more colours in the view. This mesmerising palace is now-a-days used for organizing fashion shows, promotion launching and film shooting.

Located within Lallgarh Palace Complex at Bikaner (Rajasthan, India) this famous tourist destination is easily accessible. The palace is located at a distance of one kilometre from the bus stand.

Known for its intricate carvings, Laxmi Niwas palace houses 42 palatial rooms with well maintained lush green lawns and a royal clock tower at the entrance of hotel. Well decorated  air-conditioned rooms are facilitated with separate dressing rooms to the bathrooms.
