A local Rajput warrior named Thakur Nawal Singh established this town in the year 1755. The Fort of Mandawa
This grand fort is located in the heart of the town of Mandawa. A number of beautiful paintings adorn the rooms of this fort, which has now been converted into a heritage hotel.
